Geddan-ing in George Square with some Nerdfighters.

Garage times for Amy's birthday.

This week consisted of:
  • Partying for Amy's 20th. Soo good! Such a good laugh AND Rachel was there! It was a great laugh, even if we did split up from Amy for ages.
  • The Blackout at the Garage. I'm pretty much in love with The Blackout. I can't believe they were partying at the garage the night before and I didn't bump into them! :(
  • Finishing uni until September. I cannot believe I'm halfway through my course already. WHAT?
  • Buying a Greggs for the first time this semester on the way home on Thursday. I managed to last over 12 weeks. Be proud.
  • Having long lies ruined by Jayne and my papa.
  • Melting in the heat at work.
  • Getting sunburnt whilst gathering in Glasgow Green with a bunch of Nerdfighters. Was weird being at a gathering with loads of folk I don't know. I'm too used to having mini gatherings where I know everyone.
  • Melting at work in the heat again.
  • Breaking my wardrobe & getting my dad to fix it. Apparently it wasn't broken. IT WAS.
  • Procrastinating.
  • VEDA-ing.
I hope you had a good week. :)

Sorry for the lack of posts. My life has basically consisted of only uni, uni work, sleep and VEDA. But now I don't have uni or uni work, except studying for my exams.
I decided today would be my first and only day of "spring break" so I was looking forward to my lovely long lie. It got ruined by Jayne coming into my room at 6am and then again by my papa phoning at 10 something. Yay. After eventually getting up and making some food, I thought I'd go for a bath only to discover there was no hot water. Plus, my mum asked me to clean the bathroom. What a nice relaxing day I've had. Not. The plan for tonight though is to laze about and watch stuff on 4oD and/or a dvd in my bed. Unfortunately I have work tomorrow and Sunday, but my plan is to study like a boss from Sunday onwards since my exams start on the 20th.
There's a gathering tomorrow. Hopefully it'll be good. Looking forward to seeing everyone's faces again. :)

I registered to do Race For Life on June 19th in Edinburgh with my mum, Jayne, Caron, Kirstie and Shannon last night. I'd appreciate it if you could donate/sponsor me here: http://www.raceforlifesponsorme.org/raceforlifeyo/ It really would mean a hell of a lot to me. Thank you. :)

Lazy day. Still not finished that lab report. And my hair is curly, you just can't see it too well.

Also, there's a gathering on Saturday. The thought of being there with a million folk I don't know and hardly any of the folk I met wayyyy back being there scares me a little bit. Since we're already a little group of friends and what have you, it'll just be weird. Especially since we're already being disliked on the facebook page and a little on yourpants.org. Aw, whatever. I've not seen the youtube folk in foreverrrrrrrr!

Free

Free - Twin Atlantic

Where's your passion, where's your fire tonight?
I can't believe there's nothing you're willing to hide.
I want to believe.
I set my body on fire so I could be free.

So I've pretty much loved Twin Atlantic since I saw them years and years ago at King Tut's entirely accidentally. Well, they were supporting someone else. Every time I sing along to any of their tunes, my accent gets thicker. No idea why. But yeah, I love Twin Atlantic.

So today I had a couple of tutorial classes, ate lunch, made a video and then fell asleep. You can view that video here.
I was planning on going shopping with Jayne this evening for a Mother's Day present but Jayne went out. Laaaame. :/

What about breakfast at Tiffany's?

Lots of things are not okay in my life right now: drifting from best friends, a ridiculous amount of coursework, an issue on Tuesdays at Tae Kwon-Do, illness in the family, wishing I had more money etc. But this isn't a blog about all that doom and gloom stuff.

I'm participating in VEDA (Vlog Every Day April) this year. A couple of years ago I did VEDM (May instead of April) and it was fun yet ridiculously hard. So I've asked a whole bunch of people do do it with me this year. The more, the merrier, right? Well, you run out of ideas when it's by yourself and a couple of years back we'd set each other challenges. Remember The Hoedown Throwdown? A lot has changed since then. I've been in uni for two years. Hopefully a lot of people take part this year. It'd be fun. (:

You know that 30 Day Photo Challenge people are doing over on facebook? Well, I'm doing it on flickr as not to spam people's homepage. Plus, it's for me, not them. But whatever. It can be found here for your viewing pleasure.

Jayne came into my room at 6.10am this morning and told me that Dev on Radio1 played Breakfast at Tiffany's and that it would be stuck in her head all day. Thanks to her telling me this, I had to go and listen to it and get it stuck in my head. Then I spread it around a little more on twitter and facebook and at uni so now I'm spreading it to you. I hope it gets stuck in your head forever. <3
