15-23rd April

It's been a while. Sorry.

Nothing too interesting happened on the 15th. On the 16th, I had to go to the doctors to get blood taken at 9:10am. It was wayyy too early. I left the house at like, half 8 thinking I'd just missed a bus and that I'd be waiting for ages, but it turns out I was just in time for a bus. I was half an hour early for my appointment. Fun. Though, I did like being up that early as it practically tripled the amount of sunlight hours I saw.
I worked on Saturday and Sunday, don't think I did much else really. I got a new jacket but I can't remember if it was that Saturday or earlier. My dad was like, "Cara, buy a new jacket, there is a sale in gap. That style of jacket for like £25." My response was, "I have no money."
I had Monday off. Good times, though I had to write my essay that was due on Tuesday. I don't think it was any good to be honest, but hopefully I get a pass at least.
On Tuesday, during the lab, I managed to pour buffer solution everywhere but in the electrophoresis tank. All over Heather and the bench. Heather then banned me from working with the tank. hahaha. :)
On Wednesday, the final minitab book was due in. The guys at uni were being total creeps to me all day. It was pretty funny though. Heather fell and took part of the pool table with her to the floor. Hilarious.
Yesterday was Claire's Cuppa Tea? gig. It was pretty good tbh, though I was really pretty tired. :/ I love how a massive group of us had to run for the train after it though. All the folk & bands that played were really quite good. :) I love live music.
After uni yesterday I came home to find the results of my blood test. No news is good news, so having a letter was clearly bad news. Yeah, it turns out I'm anaemic and have to take iron tablets for a while, then go back for a blood test. How did the people at The Arches know this when I was in the medical room super ill 3 weeks ago ?
Today I managed to sleep for ages. Really not done much. My life is boring sometimes. Though, Aoife and Julie did ask if I wanted to go out for a "mini bender" tonight and I totally would if I had money. :/
